Quiet Note March-2026

Welcome to my Quiet Note

In this space, where calm moments meet inspiration, my hope is that these notes bring you a sense of peace, thoughtful reflection, and a gentle reminder to find beauty in the quiet.

Lovely Words

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
— —Mother Teresa

Hello dear friend,

Spring and the coming of Easter is another of my favourite times of year.

The days stretch a little longer. Fresh air drifts in through open windows, and everywhere I look, there are signs of new life.

And somehow, I always think of my Grandma.

Perhaps it’s because this is the time I begin to dream about my garden. I make plans, and imagine what might bloom in the months ahead.

There will always be pink flowers.

Just like Grandma’s garden.

When I reflect back, I realize how profound her influence on my life was.

I lost her in my early twenties, yet I can still hear her voice and her laugh as clearly as if she were sitting beside me.

She was soft-spoken and kind.

She loved kittens, flowers, and the colour pink.

She went to church every Sunday.

If she was hurting, one would never know.

She loved me dearly.

She lived quietly—faithful, steady, and deeply rooted in love.

She reminds me that the most beautiful lives are not always the most visible ones. They are cultivated slowly, tended in prayer, shaped in quiet trust, and softened by grace.

I have started my petunia seeds earlier this week, and yes, they are all pink.

Have a beautiful day. ♡

with love and gratitude,

Loralie

a little something to ponder…

Who has quietly influenced your life — and what part of their love is blooming in you now?
