Welcome to my Quiet Note

In this space, where calm moments meet inspiration, my hope is that these notes bring you a sense of peace, thoughtful reflection, and a gentle reminder to find beauty in the quiet.

Lovely Words

Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse.

Hello dear friend,

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! And I hope that no matter where you live, your weekend was rich with blessings.

We celebrated on Saturday. It was a glorious, warm, windless day filled with sunshine. By Sunday, we were in the midst of a full-blown snowstorm and without internet. But I have to say, I didn’t mind. It was a gift of stillness, a chance to cozy up by the fire and enjoy a perfectly quiet day with my husband.

I am thankful for the changing of the seasons, especially the turning from summer to fall to winter. My heart feels it most in the light, how it softens and shifts, how it streams through the window of my little studio shed, dancing through the last golden leaves and sparkling across the wooden tabletop. It is inviting me to pause and take a little time to notice.

And when I do, I am in awe of the many miracles He has woven through every detail of this life.

P.S. Remember I mentioned that something fresh and lovely was coming?

I can't wait any longer to share…Quiet Mail will be released (hopefully) soon!

(just patiently waiting for the postal strike to end)

Watch your email for all the sweet details… ♡

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
