Hello dear friend,

As I write this note, I’m sitting in our hotel room in Tofino, BC, watching a storm roll in.

I had an entirely different note planned, but as I watch the ocean waves crash against the shore, another thought comes to mind.

The waves remind me so much of life…full of movement and energy, sometimes even restless or fierce. Yet, when they meet the shore, they scatter into calm. It’s as if the ocean itself takes a deep breath and releases.

And then, I notice a little boy outside the window, bundled in a blue rain suit, laughing as he leans into the wind and rain. His joy is unshaken, even as the storm swirls around him.

And I smile… knowing all will be well.
